For close to 20 years I have lived my life as a citizen of the world, moving between homes in three countries (US, UK and France) several times a year. I work with people on every continent in many walks of life. My biggest takeaway: human beings long to have an impact on their world, and each has a role to play. This podcast is dedicated to people all around the world who listen, act and never give up. Thanks for tuning in.

Meet Beth Cuenco
"In January 2017, my six-year-old son's School closed its doors for the last time. It was the school that I went to as a child and one that had nurtured within me, a lifelong love of learning. Together with a team of teachers and parents, we decided that we couldn't let this wonderful education die and we decided to throw everything into setting up a new Waldorf school here in Kent. On the 19th September this year, we achieved Independent School Status.
We have no idea what lies ahead, what the future looks like for our children. What we do know is that schools have a vital role in preparing our children for this uncertain world. Our New School is passionate about remaining a learning environment for all, so that we can keep exploring and understanding how we can best support our children - whether it be through nurturing a love and reverence for nature, through encouraging empathy, through teaching traditional skills or through valuing creativity as highly as academic achievement.
